Its the time of the Revolutionary War, and America has already been fighting agenst England, the very person who took him in and raised him to be the person he is today. Deep in their hearts they'd both known this was bound to happen. As America grew, so did the tension. Already America's armies have suffered many defeats. Now they have had many victories, England it weakening, and the end is sure to be near. This doesn't make it any less painful for the two who once called each other brothers. Whats worse is that it seems impssible for them to escape the feelings they have for each other. So what if the war didn't end like how we all know it did from reading our history books? What if the war could end peacfully? What if there truely was a happy ending to all this bloody fighting?

America shivered a little as he sat underneith a tree. Damn, just what we needed, more snow. The troops are already weary enough with out all of this freezing weather. He coughed and wrapped his arms around his knees for warmth. He could barely keep his tired, sky-blue eyes from closing, but he had to stay awake. Being one of the better off of the soldiers as far as health, it was up to him to give the injured rest while he guarded the camp. His uniform war dark from the wetness of the snow. He tried hard not to let his thoughts drift to a certain person with choppy blonde hair and emerald eyes. His enemy, and the only person he ever truely loved. He sighed and looked up at the cloudy night sky.

A boy walked up to America and said, "sir, the General wants to reveiw the battle plans with you." America nodded and stood up. He headed twards the large tent that was serving as the head quarters as the boy took his place to guard the camp. America winced a little as he walked on his injured right leg. It had gotten hit by a peice of shrapnel a couple weeks ago, the area was still sore, but he'd manage. That wasn't even what bothered him the most. It was England who'd been trying to hit him, and that stung worse then a dozen shards. Of course he'd been trying to do the same to England, he had to, so he didn't blame the Englishman for trying to kill him. He entered the tent, a little warmer then the outside because of the lanterns. At a table sat General Washington and around him were the other officers. America didn't really have a certain possition in the army. Tecnicaly he was the leader, but it was the General who did most of the planing. America respected General Washington very much. "Ah, there you are Alfred, come take a look at our course." Washington said. America looked at the large map spread out before the General, with various markers in red and blue. "When the morning comes we'll go north-east. The enimy camp is about half a mile from here and I expect we'll arrive close to them somewhere between eleven and noon. We will take a short break and then we will launch a suprise attack on them." General Washington explained. He looked up and met America in the face, his face solem. "Alfred, this may very well be the final batle. Are you ready?" America took a deep breath. It always made him nervous how much the General seemed to know. D-does he possibly understand the difficulty between this? Does he know how I think of England? He pushed the thought away and replied, "yes, General Washington." The General nodded and isad, "good, now get some sleep." America saluted and went to his tent, where he quickly succumed ot exaustion.

The army got about fifty yards from the British camp around ten o'clock. Ealier that morning some townsfolk had visited the troops and brought them various supplies. America felt much better now that he had a fresh uniform. They also had more medical suplies, gunpowder, bullets, and cannonballs. After he ate America said to the General, "I think I'm going to to take a little walk, I want to see how well my leg is doing." Washington nodded and said, "alright, just be back within the hour, and make sure not to go too close to the enemy camp."
As America walked throught the trees his mind drifted off to happier memories. This time he didn't stop himself from remembering his childhood. He thought about the wooden soldiers that England had made, and almost cut his arm off in the prosses, especially for the younger nation. He remembered all the things England had taught him. Voices inturrupted his thought. He listened and then silently cursed himself, they were the voices of british soldiers. He'd gotten so distracted that he'd walked right up to the enemy camp. He crouched down behind a tree, terrified that someone had already seen him. Then one voice he herd make his stop dead. England was there. Right there, in front of the very tree he was hiding behind. He had to get away, now. he carefully edged forward, fosusing on the voices behind him, and felt the sharp tip of a sword agenst his chest. Slowly his eyes moved in front of him and he came face to face with a British soldier. His fighting senses at once kicked in. He could tell that the soldier was older, and probably much more experienced then he was, so there was no way to trick himself out of this. And beside, if he made one move to get away he would be stabbed through the heart. There was only one thing for him to do, he slowly raised his hands in surrender. "I know you. You are Alfred F. Jones, are you not?" The solder asked sternly. "Yes sir." America repliet evenly. The solder nodded and siad, "come with me." In a moment America let out a small grunt of pain as his arms were held painfully behind his back. He was led out from behind the tree. He would soon be right in the center of their camp. In full veiw for all of them to see, for England to see.

Me: OOH I WANNA DANCE WITH CHIBI ITALY!!!! *gets back up*
Chibi Russia: did some one say my name?

Chibi Kosovo: o_o oh crap I'm little again....
Chibi Montenegroy: YAY I LOVE BEING TINY!

"He was just snooping around right outside of camp, sir. He seemed pretty distracted though." The soilder replied. "Stop right there." America said sharply, "I was not snooping! Who do you think I am, a spy? I wouldn't stoop that low." The soilder smaked him on the side of the head with the hand that was not holding his arms back and snapped, "be quie! Show some respect!" America gritted his teeth and said nothing in reply. He was trying hard to look anywhere but where England was standing. (aww poor America got smaked)

The solder nooded in agreement and said, "what should we do sir?" America bit his lip. Damn, we're in trouble! I got to come up with something quick! "If you think that then you're wrong." He said with as much confidence as he could muster. The soilder gave him a look like he was going to smack him again. Before he could do so though America continued, "I should know, and I suppose I might as well tell you since I'm a prisoner." The solider looked thoughtfull and said, "very well, continue." America took a deep breath, a story forming in his head. "The whole reason I was wandering about was because I lost the troops. YOu know there was a huge blizzard about a week ago, well I got separated in it. So as ffar as I know the troops are far away from me, since I haven't seen a trace of them since the blizzard."
Ooc: guess what! I just got my America wig today :3 oh and at my day camp the other day I found a geko and guess what I named it?
